Norman Musanza is the Teacher-in-Charge of the BOCCS school in Waya.
He was born in Nakonde in 1947, but grew up in Kabwe, together with three sisters and four brothers.
Currently, he lives in Katondo, has five sons, six daughters and is the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren. He studied to become a teacher, due to his interest in the profession and because he enjoys working with children. He has now taught for more than 18 years, six of them at BOCCS.
Mr. Musanza supports BOCCS, because he wants to help care for orphans and poor children. After school, the Waya students can join four different clubs, such as drama or the choir. He is enthusiastic about the daily lunch program, since it gives the children a healthy meal.
It is very important for him to talk to the students about God, and since BOCCS is a Christian school, each day is started with a prayer or a song.
Mr. Musanza's dream for the future is to have more classrooms, so that more children could attend school. He also wishes that BOCCS could build more schools in Kabwe, so that even more poor children could go to school. He would also, on behalf of the parents, like to thank all persons who have given donations. May God richly bless the donors.
