LIFE TRUST is a charitable organisation (NGO), which was founded by the Hartmann's with an aim to alleviate the plight of orphans, widows and needy people in Zambia. The focus of LIFE TRUST is not only limited to BOCCS, but also to projects in other areas of Zambia, through financial support. In most of these projects, orphans are given the chance to attend school. In addition, LIFE TRUST is involved in purchasing and supplying food to poor families in the poor compounds of Kabwe.

In the meantime LIFE TRUST has earned a high reputation for its work at grassroots level, i.e. in the slums. Particularly in the Kabwe area, many doors to the business community have been opened for additional support, due to its untarnished reputation in granting aid to the needy, right on their doorstep.
